For several years I have enjoyed taking photographs both professionally and personally.

Although I paint and photograph a variety of subjects, I have a particular affinity for local scenery and portraiture.

In many of my photographs the natural appeal of the subject matter is enhanced by unusual effects and colour schemes. The aim is to make everyday scenes become unexpected. I like to help people reconsider and appreciate their local surroundings.

My photographic images tend to subtly reflect an interest in symbolism and with a combination of modern technology and traditional techniques I create a range of work from stunning seascapes in contrasting black and white through to darkly coloured magical portraits from my own special project called Enchanted Images.
